SHANKARACHARYA HILL

Shankaracharya Hill is a dominating hill overlooking the Dal Lake and Srinagar in Kashmir. It is famous for the sacred Shankaracharya Temple, also known as Jyeshteswara.

INDIRA GANDHI TULIP GARDEN

With 20 lakh tulips of 46 varieties, Asia's largest tulip garden, located in Srinagar and overlooking the picturesque Dal Lake, was on Saturday thrown open to visitors.

DAL LAKE

Dal is a lake in Srinagar. The urban lake, which is the second largest in the state, is integral to tourism and recreation in Kashmir and is named the "Jewel in the crown of Kashmir" or "Srinagar's Jewel".
